The Influence of Shamanism on the Rituals of Bushehr Province

Abstract
Shamanism is the first secret school of mankind that has an ancient history in the history of nations and has had an impact on their beliefs and rituals. This influence is more evident in myths and archetypes, especially popular beliefs.This research, using a descriptive-analytical method, examines the main elements and components of shamanism, and also examines and compares some ritual ceremonies of Bushehr province with shamanistic rituals and their influence.
The results of the research show that trance, revelation, and the use of mysterious spirits, which are the main elements of shamanism for healing and prophecy, are seen in some ritual ceremonies in Bushehr province. Also, dancing, self-inflicted wounds, drinking blood, and using fire are among the other characteristics and similarities of these rituals with shamanism.
