Journal Aims and Vision

The Journal of Popular Culture and Literature at Tarbiat Modares University was established with the aim of expanding the frontiers of knowledge and enhancing the quality of scientific research in the field of popular culture and folklore. The main objectives of the journal are as follows:

  • Publishing original and innovative research in the areas of popular culture, folklore, oral narratives, myths, legends, and other related branches.

  • Strengthening and expanding interdisciplinary approaches between literary studies, anthropology, history, linguistics, and art.

  • Scientifically critiquing and analyzing written and oral heritage.

  • Supporting researchers and providing a suitable platform for disseminating their scientific achievements.
