Abstract
The time of occurrence of some natural phenomena such as sunrise and sunset, blowing winds and raining, plant growth and croping, and the birth and growth of livestock is significant in the chronology culture of some ethnic groups. The Baloch are one of the Iranian ethnic groups that natural phenomena had a prominent appearance in their chronology culture not very far ago. This article, using a descriptive method, has presented 69 titles of natural phenomena which are more prominent in the chronology culture of the Baloch people, focusing on the geographical regions of Iranshahr, Bampour, and Lashar. The results show that 85 percent of the words used in the structure of these 69 titles are of Iranian origin, and the appearance of natural phenomena through agriculture and animal husbandry in the chronology of the Baloch people of the studied regions has been remarkable. However, with the expansion of literacy levels, access to various media, familiarity with and easy access to clocks and calendars, and changing the significations of some goods, people of the new generations in the last few decades are not very familiar with the titles introduced in this article and use them less. Therefore, for partial repairing the cultural gap between generations in Balochistan, the necessity of documenting and transferring such data to new and future generations is demanded, and this article seeks to respond to this necessity.
