One of the platforms that embodies these infrastructures in every culture is folklore narratives, the analysis of which can be used to recover sources that are less visible in historical documents. According to historical evidence, matriarchy culture in Zagros was the dominant social phenomenon before the widespread presence of Aryan peoples in the Iranian Plateau. Such phenomena bring with them certain subcultures and social customs that are represented at different social and literary levels. Exogamy is one of the characteristics of matriarchal culture, which can be found in the oral literature of Kurdistan. While examining the data on exogamy based on the worldview of matriarchy by using its data, the present study analyzes the content of three popular Kurdish oral narratives in an analytical-descriptive manner and shows that action and conflict in these narratives are the result of the clash of two cultures of exogamy (ex-marriage) and endogamy (in-marriage). فرهنگ و جهان‌بینی، پایه‌های موجودیت و شناخت هر جامعه را شکل می‌دهند که البته این‌ها هم در اثر عواملی بیرونی چون کوچ جمعی، دین‌آوری، خشک‌سالی، جنگ و غیره دگردیسی می‌یابند. این دگردیسی‌ها گاهی در درازنای روزگاران به چنان فرجامی دچار می‌آیند که به فراموشی زیرساخت‌ها و علل اولیۀ شکل‌گیری آن فرهنگ هم منجر می‌شود. بستری که محمل بازنمود آن زیرساخت‌ها را در هر فرهنگی فراهم می‌آورد، روایت‌های فولکلوریک است که با تحلیل آن‌ها می‌توان سرچشمه‌هایی را بازیافت که در اسناد تاریخی کم‌تر نشانی از آن‌ها مانده است. بنا به شواهد تاریخی، فرهنگ مادربرتری در زاگرس‌ پیش از حضور گستردۀ اقوام آریایی در نجد ایران، پدیدۀ غالب اجتماعی بوده است. چنین پدیده‌هایی خرده‌فرهنگ‌ها و آداب اجتماعی خاصی را با خود می‌آورد که در سطوح مختلف اجتماعی و ادبی بازنمود می‌یابد. «برون‌همسری» از ویژگی‌های فرهنگ مادربرتری است که می‌توان نمود آن را در ادب شفاهی کردستان پی گرفت که این جستار با تحلیل محتوای سه روایت شفاهی و مشهور کردی («مم و زین»، «لاس و خزال» و «خَج و سیامند») آن را به شیوۀ تحلیلی ـ توصیفی به انجام می‌رساند و نشان می‌دهد که عامل کنش و درگیری در آن‌ها حاصل برخورد دو فرهنگ برون‌همسری و درون‌همسری است.
