In Balochi, these types of songs are called "Lilo" or "Loli". This article examines Lilo in the Balochi language and introduces these popular poetries before analyzing them from two perspectives of structure and content. The author collected the most popular lullabies while introducing such songs, investigating the meter and form, rhyme and rhythm. Then, the most important themes and functions and their connection with social life, religious concepts, life situation and their beliefs have been investigated. The format of all Lilos is "Traditional Balochi" and in terms of meter, they are often prosodic and close to poetical meter. Some of the themes observed in such songs are: Expressing the wishes of a mother for her child, praying, serenity, reducing anxiety, inspiring the happiness and cuddling of the child, fighting against enemy, assimilating child to national heroes, expressing the brand of baby food, a bridegroom with a heavy dowry, hospitality and praying for childless mothers to have children. The method of investigation in this article is field studies and descriptive-analytical method based on sixty lullabies. لالایی‌ها نوعی از ترانه‏‌های مهم در ادبیات عامۀ هر قومی به‌شمار می‌‏آیند که سینه به سینه از نسل‌‏های گذشته به امروز رسیده‏‌اند. در بلوچی به این نوع ترانه‌‏ها «لیلو» یا «لولی» می‌‏گویند. در جستار پیش رو به بررسی لیلوها در زبان بلوچی پرداخته‌ایم و هدف از این تحقیق، معرفی این اشعار عامه و تحلیل آن‌‏ها از دو منظر ساختار و درون‏مایه است. نگارنده با گردآوری مهم‌‏ترین لالایی‌‏های رایج در بلوچستان، ضمن معرفی این گونه سروده‌‏ها، نخست به بررسی وزن، قالب، قافیه و ردیف و سپس به تحلیل مهم‏‌ترین مضامین و کارکردها و پیوند آن‌‏ها با زندگی اجتماعی، مفاهیم دینی، وضعیت زندگی و باورهای گویشوران بلوچی پرداخته است. قالب همۀ لیلوها، «بلوچیِ سنتی» است و از نظر وزن غالباً عروضی و در بحر قریب هستند. برخی از مضامین به کاررفته در آن‌‏ها عبارت‌اند از: بیان آرزوهای مادر برای فرزند، دعا برای بچه، آرام‏بخشی، کم کردن بی‏قراری‏‌های کودک، تشویق به شادی و نوازشگری کودک، جنگ در برابر دشمن، تشبیه کودک به قهرمانان قومی، بیان نوع خوراک کودک، داماد گرفتن با مهریۀ سنگین، مهمان‏‌نوازی و دعا برای مادران بی‌‏اولاد که بچه‏‌دار شوند. شیوۀ بررسی در این مقاله، مطالعات میدانی و روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی براساس شصت لالایی است. تاکنون دربارۀ تحلیل ساختاری و محتوایی لالایی‏‌های بلوچی پژوهشی انجام نشده است. بنابراین انجام پژوهش برای شناخت این بخشِ ناشناخته از ادبیات عامۀ مردم بلوچستان ضروری به نظر می‌‏رسد.
