My ethnographic research about “Muharram Cars” in Tehran shows a special type of stret ethnography in that ethnographer explore about cars with his or her car. I made the term “Cargraphy” to express theoretical and methodological features of this type of ethnographic research. This cargraphic research shows how individuls use cars as a emcaried experience in everyday and ritualistic contexts, how cars became secondary bodies, and how thoughts and feelings conveyed through manipulations of cars.
